One of the most important aspects for me as a fully qualified and insured micropigmentation specialist is the free consultation I offer
at my established private treatment rooms which are located in the main High Street, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.
During your free consultation with me, you will be asked relevant questions and receive an 'allergy' test to ensure your suitability.
Together, we will decide what your individual requirements are. It is essential that the shape,colour and finished results are a mutual decision and that you, 'the client' are satisfied and have participated in fully.
I will answer all of your queries and spend time with you so that you can
make an 'informed' decision about the procedure you are interested in.
Once you decide to proceed, the whole process is usually carried out in two treatments approximately 4 - 6 weeks apart. I work on the premise 'less is more' and this ensures a much better end result!
When I work I always adhere to the strictest guidelines, using the only digital equipment certified with a class 2a certificate- the highest health and safety issue. I use disposable single use products and sterile sealed cartridges for each individual client. Your safety is paramount to me.
As every person has their own tolerance levels, my priority is to make the treatments as comfortable as possible so I only use top quality pigments and premium topical products which give optimum results.
A single new procedure should take approximately 2 hours (less for eyeliner) and the initial colour result will be darker and more intense. This will last for a short time and as the area heals and exfoliates, the softer true colour and definition will emerge.
I also ensure that you receive comprehensive aftercare instructions.
In my experience, once completed, your Semi Permanent Make Up will last on average 1 - 3 years although some of my clients have had longer term results than this. Life factors such as age, your own skin regeneration and UV exposure will all affect the length of the results.
Most of my clients return to me for a 'Refresher Treatment' to keep their original colour looking its best and 'themselves' every 1-2 years.
Semi Permanent Make Up has been featured on many TV programmes such as 'Ten Years Younger' and 'Extreme Make-over'. Many celebrities, models and 'high profile' people have Semi Permanent Make Up. A well kept trade secret to why they look so good!
Clients must be aged 18 or over to meet the legal requirements of this process.
